Cisco Access Registrar is a RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) compliant multiple dial-in Network Access Server (NAS) devices to share a common authentication, authorization, and accounting database. It is designed to support the delivery of dial, ISDN, DSL, cable, Wireless LAN, Public wireless LAN, Mobile wireless (3G), Service Selection Gateway (SSG), Voice over IP (VoIP) and WiMAX.
Designed from the ground up to meet the needs of service provider operations, Cisco Access Registrar provides carrier-class performance and scalability as well as the extensibility required for integration with evolving service management systems and updating with the latest technologies to support any service delivery model.
Cisco Access Registrar is a widely used AAA server in Service Provider's market. As an application it comprises of all the required features to support the Wireless and fixed line operators, CDMA and GSM operators.
