Logo Program

Cisco Systems

Cisco often receives requests for permission to use our trademarks and logos. Cisco generally does not grant permission to use our logos, trademarks, trade dress, service marks, or slogans outside our formal relationship programs (i.e., channel partner programs, alliance programs, reseller programs, etc.)

Quick Facts

Cisco does not allow use of the Cisco name or corporate logo on third-party listings (in print or on Web sites)

As part of our no-endorsement policy Cisco does not permit use of the Cisco corporate logo on Web lists or in print to indicate that we are a client, customer, partner, or any other type of affiliate.

Cisco rarely licenses use of the corporate logo to third parties

Exceptions are made only when there is a compelling business reason for Cisco to do so.

Cisco partners use their partner program logo, not the Cisco corporate logo

Read about Cisco Relationship Logos below.

Contracts for Cisco events or tradeshows often include a provision that allows the use of the Cisco logo

Check the contract or contact your Cisco sponsor before asking for possibly redundant permission to use the Cisco corporate logo. Cisco employees should contact their events and tradeshows coordinator for assistance with logo use.

If you are working with a Cisco employee, ask him or her to request permission on your behalf

In most cases, a Cisco employee must sponsor logo requests. Working with your Cisco contact will help ensure a smooth permission process.

The first three tabs that follow contain specifically designed logos to denote the business relationships that Cisco partners or program members have with Cisco Systems. If your request is for such uses, please refer to the relevant program guidelines.

Several programs give Cisco partners opportunities to demonstrate their relationship with Cisco by using specific logos. Companies that qualify may use specified logos as stated in their partner or program agreement. For information about how to become a member of a Cisco partner program, visit the appropriate link below. For questions about use of your relationship logo, consult the usage guidelines that your company received as part of the Cisco partner agreement. If you still have questions, refer to the Partner Help URLs or use the e-mail addresses provided. Affiliation with a Cisco program does not imply the right to use the Cisco corporate logo.

Because it represents the highest quality in networking products and services, the Cisco corporate logo is valuable property of Cisco Systems. It is the most visible and recognizable expression of the Cisco brand. Cisco acknowledges the desires of third parties to show affiliation with Cisco. However, you may not use the corporate logo to imply affiliation with or endorsement by Cisco without express written permission from Cisco.

Please note that Cisco rarely licenses use of its corporate logo to third parties. Exceptions are made only when Cisco is given a compelling business reason to do so. If permission to use the logo is granted, you may use the corporate logo only for the stated purpose and in the manner for which permission is granted.

  • If you wish to use the Cisco corporate logo, please use our online Logo Request Tool. In other cases you will be asked to fill out a form for further review of your request and you will be contacted via e-mail. Please disable any pop-up blockers in your web browser before using the tool. Permission will be granted at the discretion of Cisco.
